Meet Faye: Guiding LGBTQ+ Travellers Worldwide

Hey there! I'm Faye, a proud gay high school teacher with a passion for travel ignited nine years ago. In 2021, I embarked on a new adventure by moving to the Middle East. I quickly realised the lack of resources and support for LGBTQ+ individuals like me in this region. This idea emerged as a beacon of hope amid the challenges of navigating homophobic laws in countries.

My lifelong goal has always been to explore as much of the world as possible; I refuse to let my sexuality limit my experiences or opportunities. When I decided to move to the United Arab Emirates, I struggled to find relevant information online about LGBTQ+ travel in the Middle East. So, I decided to become that resource for others embarking on similar journeys, whether that be solo, with their friends or with their partners.

Join me as I share tips, insights, itineraries and personal experiences to empower LGBTQ+ travellers to explore the world confidently and safely.

Make a contribution.

Friendly Announcement
Hey there! While teaching high school English is my main gig, I'm also a passionate traveler. I noticed a need for more LGBTQ+ travel resources, so I decided to step in and fill that gap. I aim to share helpful content twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday!
If you've found my posts valuable or enjoyable, I'd truly appreciate any support you can offer. Creating and maintaining this blog takes a lot of time and effort, but I do it with love to ensure safe and enjoyable travel experiences for our community.
If there's a specific destination you're interested in that hasn't been featured yet, please don't hesitate to reach out via email or Instagram. Currently, there are 29 countries not covered on the blog, and I'm eager to provide information that meets your needs. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
